Self centring cover for aerosol container - has rib on cover guided on sloping ramp on container

The aerosol container lid is cylindrical and has a slot (11) cut in its side. The inside of the lid is fitted with an upright rib (2) with a sloping lower edge (8). The container has a cylindrical top which fits inside the cover. The outside of the cylinder has a sloping ramp (6) which converges from each side to a point (12) located immediately above the aerosol discharge nozzle (9). The upright rib in the lid is able to slide on the sloping face so that the lid will rise and fall as it turns. If the lid is pushed on it will automatically find its correct angular position.
