PURPOSE:To enhance color forming sensitivity and to prevent the generation of background fog by providing a thermal color forming layer containing a specific electron donating dye precursor, an electron acceptive substance and a specific compound on a support. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color forming layer containing a colorless-light- colored electron donating dye precursor and an electron acceptive substance reaching with said dye precursor to form a color is provided on a support. The dye precursor is a compound represented by formula (I) and at least one of compounds represented by formulae (II), (III) is contained in the thermal color forming layer and the electron acceptive substance is 1, 1'-bis(p- hydroxyphenyl) propane. In the formula (II), R1 and R'1 are H,Cl or CH3 and may be same or different. In the formula (III), R2 and R'2 are H or CH3 and may be same or different. |
