Lashed cable support bar - has forked ends with tine gaps shaped to match support flanges for interference fit

The support consists of a bar (1) having forked ends (2,3) the gap between the tines being shaped to match the edge of the support flanges (9,10) and dimensioned to be an interference fit on the flanges. Notches (6) are formed at approximately mid length of the bar, to prevent the lashing (7) from slipping. The fork tines are the same width as the bar and form parallel sections staggered away from the plane of the bar. These sections engage the rectangular holes cut in a special assembly tool which rotates the bar to lie at right angles to the support edges, once the latter have been engaged in the appropriate fork ends.
