Cutting head for a dry shaving apparatus, with a cutting blade and a cutting component tippably movable around an axis in the direction of the blade's lengthways extension and also crossways to it. This cutting component's edges are formed by differing curve radii, and it (2) is displaceable in relation to the cutting blade (1), by means of rotation. The cutting component edges are so selected as affects the curve radii, that they are elliptical, and its displacement occurs between one position in which the cutting blade (1) is opposite an acutely curved section (3a) of the cutting edge, and one in which it is opposite a very slightly curved section (3b).
