<p>The connecting fitting is for use on door-or window stay arms with ends (1, 2) connected adjustably to a connecting piece, (3). The stay arm has a number of holes (4) and a fine tooth system (7) where rectangular holes (6) alternate with webs (14). Each web is interrupted by a gap (15). The toothing on stay arm meshes with a corresp. toothing (11, 12) provided on the connecting piece. The connecting piece is of an I-section with flanges (13) fitting with the respective edges of the stay arm. The web of the I-section carriers toothing on one side and a system of pin connecting elements (9) which fit tightly into holes (4) of the stay arm. The modules of the toothing and that of the connecting elements are staggered by 1/4 of the toothing module.</p> |
