Floor expansion joint elastic sealing - has V-arms on arched bridge covering centre section and battens in projections

The sealing is for expansion joints in floors with two light metal bars fixed at the sides. Bracket projections form seating for a permanently elastic plastic or rubber covering. This is mortised into grooves in the bars by downwards projecting serrated battens. The shaped battens of the grooves accommodating the covering are formed in the projections which extend from the vertical sections of the one-piece side bars into the expansion joint. The intervening centre section of the covering has an arched bridge shaped cross-secton, with V-shaped spreader arms supported on the projections.
