<p>The insole for walking shoes, rubber botts and working shoes is made of soft PVC with a smooth side and side coated with plastic fibres which compacted to form a fleece or felt. The felt layer contains a high vol. proportion of finely divided air, for good heat insulation which can be increased by using several insoles one on top of the other. The insole is only 2.3 mm. thick. The insole may be worn with either the smooth side or the matted side facing upwards; in the latter case, the insole absorbs sweat which is useful for rubber boots in hot weather. The insole does not allow passage of moisture entering the shoe from underneath, can be washed in cold water, dries easily, is more tear- and wear-resistant when damp, and does not age.</p> |
