<p>Grinding elements have a carrier member with a circular carrier surface to which a circular grinding member is attached. The latter has a circular resin-bonded grinding medium and, fixed to this and to the carrier member, a support member of porous resin. The resin for the grinding medium may be a polyamide while the support member may be of porous polyamide. Grinding elements do not require dressing before use, unlike conventional designs.</p> |
