The exhaust gas feed back pipe (7) joins an open annular chamber (6) situated immediately below the fuel injection nozzle. The exhaust feed back volume is regulated by a depression dependent regulator valve (10). A magnetic valve (11) interrupts the depression source under certain conditions such as slow running or full load when exhaust feed back is not desirable. Advantage claimed is that by introducing the exhaust gas feed back close to the injector outlet a better vapourisation of the fuel particles is achieved. |
