Trousers press having a first press unit formed by a fixed central plate and two lateral movable plates is provided with a second press unit similar to the first unit and a pivotal arm for moving the trousers between the two press units. High quality pressing can be effected by unskilled labour as accurate aligning of legs is dispensed with. Pref. the press units are arranged at right angles to one another and the arm is pivoted through an angle of 270 degrees. Press units are provided with vertically adjustable trousers supports or yokes from which the trousers may be suspended by their legs.
