<p>The application is to small motors with permanent magnet or iron plate rotors to simplify the control circuit by reducing the number of components. The Motor field windings are connected to separate terminals (a, b, c, d) of the controller, each having a switching thyristor (13, 14) associated. The commutating capacitor (15) is connected between thyristor cathodes and thus also directly to the positive lead of each winding. A position sensor feeds (e, f) information to the circuit to give successive triggering of the thyristors in order to generate a moving field in the motor. The thyristor from which the gate signal is removed is extinguished by the energy in the capacitor (15).</p> |
