<p>The trailer tow bar is linked to the trailer frame on a pivot, with both sections of the pivot blocked against each other by a brake linked to the vehicle brakes. In order to prevent the trailer steering from blocking while cornering a cut-out switch inhibits the pivot brake when the tow bar is at an angle to the trailer. The inside of the trailer pivot ring (7) has a cam (9) with a depression corresp. to the ahead position. A cut-out switch (10) linked to the brake line and the pivot brake, monitors the position of the depression with a guide wheel.</p> |
