PURPOSE:To perform high-speed printing by positioning an image forming means with respect to a supporting body having the same curvature and making it opposed to a belt-like image forming body which rubs and moves on the supporting body so that an image may be formed. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive belt 1 is made in a tensive state by a tension roller 5 and the inner peripheral surface of the belt 1 is allowed to rub and contact with a guiding member 4. Therefore, a photosensitive body being the outer peripheral surface of the belt 1 is always held at the position of a fixed relation to the surface of the guiding member 4 even in course of conveyance and a large image formed surface having the stable curvature is constituted in a long width. One electrostatic charger, one image exposing device and one developing device are taken as one set to be adjacent to one another as four sets of image forming means obtained by taking four sets of electrostatic chargers, the image exposing devices and the developing devices 110, 120, 130;210, 220, 230;310, 320, 330;410, 420 and 430 as the set and opposed to the photosensitive belt 1 is provided with the guiding member 4 having the same radius of curvature on its back. Thus, the high-speed printing is accomplished. |
