<p>PURPOSE:A power line is run through the inside of a hollowed cylinder made of a magnetostrictive material wound on its outside with an optical fiber and the changes in current is detected as the transmission loss of the fiber, whereby the easy and accurate accurate measurement of superhigh voltage current is made possible without any effect of the changes in temperature.</p> |
