The plasma can be prepared by combining blood with anticoagulant, e.g. citrate or oxalate ions, and the plasma obtained therefrom combined with a stabilising agent(s), e.g. saccharose and/or lactose, placed into a vessel with non-wettable inner surfaces followed by freezing and lyophilizing the plasma, evacuating the vessel and filling with 5% v/v at least of CO 2 , and then sealing.</p> |
