<p>Benzodioxan derivatives of formula, <IMAGE> in which R is a group of formula A <IMAGE> A or of formula B, -(CH2)p-CR6=CR5-(CH2)n-O-R2 B wherein R2 is a hydrocarbon radical, e.g. alkyl or cycloalkyl, R3 and R4, independently, are hydrogen or alkyl, R5 and R6, independently, are hydrogen or methyl, M, N AND P ARE INTEGERS, R1 is hydrogen or alkyl, X is oxygen or sulphur AND Z is hydrogen or a substituent, e.g. alkyl, are useful as insect and acarid growth inhibiting agents.</p> |
