<p>The ski-boot (1) has a sole (2) of relatively soft rubber which is bonded to the hard rubber upper (3). The upper (3) is provided with small lugs (4) and (5) at the toe and heel to enable the boot to be attached to the ski in the usual manner. With the soft rubber sole it is much easier to walk when wearing the boots than is the case with existing boots. At the same time the attachment of the relatively rigid upper directly to the ski ensures that the rigidity of attachment is not adversely affected by the flexibility of the sole. The sole is strengthened by reinforcing strips (6, 7).</p> |
