<p>single pole electrical connector in the form of a jack, making connection between two conducting plates (6, 7) which are vertical to the axis of the connector. The design is intended to minimise overall geometry and manufacturing costs. The connector consists of a metal rod in which are cut two grooves spaced at 90 deg. around the cross-section. Each groove carries a spring wire (4) provided with a slight elbow towards one end such that rest the wire is held away from the rod for part of its length. Both wires are located by holes drilled in the rod at right angles to its axis.</p> |
