<p>Appts. for developing yarn strands is partic. for use in dyeing operations. A unit stores the yarns in the distributor which is located at the circumference of a rotating platform, opening to its underside. A pair of cylindrical rollers are positioned above a coaxial channel where the yarns are stored, by a frame, where one roller is powered and the other idles for the yarns to be pushed into the channel. The rotary speed adjustment takes its drive from the platform a vary the speed of the driven roller. An intermediate channel connects the lower end of the coaxial channel to the distributor at the circumference of the platform. The design allows the productivity to be increased by using faster rotary speeds for the platform giving strands of selected diams. irrespective of the yarn type.</p> |
