Lubrication system for intermediate bearing - has annular lubrication space between shaft ring and conical ridge collar

The system is for use on a bearing such as a ring supported roller bearing that fits between two shafts (24, 4) that rotate relative to one another. It gives constant lubrication independent of the slope angle of the bearing surface. Both shafts have a ring (26) and a conical ridge (27) which form an annular space (28) with truncated cone cross section. The space is connected directly or indirectly to the source of lubricating fluid. One shaft has a gearbox input shaft with the conical collar fixed to the shaft. One side of the collar is supported by the fixed bearing and the other side bears against the face of a gearwheel. The ring (26) is fixed to the gearwheel.
