The security fence consists of a trellis stretched between hollow uprights. The trellis consists of wrap wires parallel to the ground, and weft wires at right angles and welded to them. The bottom of the trellis touches the top of a low wall (5) which is slightly raised above the ground. Some of the warp wires are joined to form a line. The same wires are each joined by a section of electrically conducting wire or by bridges. The low wall contains a conductor wire encased in a tube for example made of PVC. A detector in the circuit singles any variation in the electrical resistance of the line, to a panel and to an alarm.
