The buried sealing wall is produced using a workable, plastic and erosion-resistant sealing mass and sealing membrane is preferably made of elastic metallic or non-metallic material (e.g. foil, filter mats made of plastic etc). is lowered into the ground slit before the sealing mass is poured into the slit which is filled with supporting liquid. The membrane is held in place by a transverse beam (5) on the lower end of a pouring tube (4). The membranes in neighbouring slits are designed to overlap one another to ensure an effective seal for the complete structure..
