The heat insulating panel is for laying on sloping roofs, under a hard roof covering, and can be quickly and easily laid, providing an effective insulating skin with few gaps. the panel can be laid on a normal roof batten structure, with no further procedures involved. The upper side is pref. provided with a profiled contour resembling a roof batten. Several battens may be covered by a single panel. Joints, with adjacent panel can be effected by rebate shaped sections on the periphery.
