A workpiece clamping device has three centrally acting holders, hand or pressure piston operated in common. The middle holder (12) incorporates an adjuster (15) which operates the other two radially displaceable holders (13, 14). Equal or unequal arms (32) are attached to a levr (31) for operating the outer holders, and to the arm ends are attached cylindrical surfaces (35, 36) or rollers. The ends of the adjuster (15) and the contact surfaces of the two outer holders (13, 14) are formed as flat and/or curved surfaces (37), so that the feed path of the central holder (12) can be changed over to conform with the equal feed movements of the two outer holders (13, 14).
