The system switching and control units are mounted in standardised modular boxes. Several boxes of the same or of different size can be joined by their sides to form a switching field, and they are designed to dovetail together. A busbar carrying a theruw plastic support (1) made of a leakage current proof material has holes (6) for individual busbars for their mutual spacing. The busbars can run into or through a box. The holes may be spaces in the lattice type structure which increases the resistance to leakage current. The busbar may be secured in the middle of the box by two plastic clamps.
