PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image and a large number of copies good in quality same as obtained in the early times in successive operations by incorporating a specified boron compound at least in the surface. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains at least in the surface one of the boron compounds represented by formulae I and II in which X is potassium or ammonium. These boron compounds can be synthesized by the known methods, and they may be used alone or in combination with another one of formulae I and II or with another negative charge controller of a different kind, thus permitting images same in image quality as obtained in the early times even after successive copying operations and triboelectrification to be unchanged in amount, little affected by fluctuations of environmental conditions, and good triboelectrifiability to be ensured even under high temperature and high humidity. |
