The continuous mfr. of reinforced plastics laminate foil, comprising a top and a bottom foils between which diagonally extending, criss-crossing plastics tapes are welded comprises placing, between to moving foil webs of equal width, a number of tapes in zig-zag arrangements via a transversely reciprocating comb. The tapes are fixed by hook chains at those points left and right of the webs, where their path is reversed. The resulting assembly consisting of the two outer foil webs and the criss-crossing tensioned tapes is pressed together and laminated with the aid of laminating rollers after the hook chains have been released. |
