Compounds of the formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof wherein X is an alkylene group of 2 - 4 carbon atoms; Y is CH2 or 0; R1 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl group; R2 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-6 alkyl or benzyl group or is joined to R1 so that NR1R1 is a 5-, 6- or 7- membered saturated ring; R3 is a naphthyl group or a naphthyl group substituted by a fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom or a methyl, methoxyl, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy or acetoxy group; R4 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group; and R5 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group; have been found to be mood modifying agents. |
