1471683 Two-part couplings SOURIAU ET CIE 25 June 1974 [9 Aug 1973] 28011/74 Heading H2E A connector comprises a male part A and a female part B, part A containing a contact 1 locked in an insulating body 12 by tongues 7 on a clip 6, the contact having a pin 2 passing through a soft rubber disc 14 at one end and a tail 4 soldered to a printed circuit board at the other. The contact is demountable by first unsoldering and then inserting a tool 11 through the rubber disc 14 to unlock the clip (Fig. 2), the tool 11 having a split tube 16 which grips the contact to allow it to be withdrawn. The connector may include a nut 20 and a flange 21 for mounting on a wall 19.
