<p>The stand holds a fire hose, complete with nozzle, on areel. This is contained inside a protective cover and mounted on a rotable support anchored in the ground. The stand and hose can be swivelled to any direction. The cover comprises two semi-spherical shells, pivoting (3) on a common diameter. The lower shell (2) holds the reel on bearings. The upper shell (6) pulls down over the reel and lower shell when not required and is raised to gain access. The rotatable support has a socket on the lower shell fitting over a vertical tube. A greasing point (7) and a lock stop (8) are provided.</p> |
