Electric cable grip for two cables - has two U-shaped clamps and has grooved separator with grooves for clamp ends

An electric cable grip is used to hold two separate cables. It can accommodate cables with wide dimensional tolerances. The cable grip has two separate clamps (1, 2). These clamps (1, 2) are 'U' shaped and made of aluminium alloy. The extremities (3, 4) of each clamp (1, 2) are bent. These bent extremities (3, 4) fit into slots (9, 10) of a separator (6). The separator (6) is shaped to accommodate the contour of the cables. The slots (9, 10) have a trapezoidal bent extremities (3, 4) have a an inclined face (3", 4") to mate with the inclined faces of the slots. The clamps (1, 2) and the separator (6) have small grooves (5, 15) to allow any excess of grease.
