<p>Each wall of the prefabricated building consists of an assembly of modular panels (M) of standardised span fitted together by means of uprights (PA) forming an integral part of the wall. The panel span is quite narrow to make the wall a bearing wall with the uprights near together. Where there are two walls joined together on a different plane, an angle upright (PB) is used. The framework (C) rests on the uprights and is joined to them by threaded rods (F) for example. The uprights are fixed to a floor (5) made of wood, concrete or mortar by means of threaded rods or grouting. Longitudinal girders (L) fixed to the ground serve as guides to the panels. Roof-support girders (R) are placed on top of the walls, and rest on the uprights.</p> |
