<p>The stay consists of a tube (1) at the top of which slides a bar (2) perforated by a series of regularly spaced out holes. A pin (3) is inserted through the required hole and is joined by a chain (4) to the tube (1). The free end of the bar (2) has a threaded rod (5) screwed into the corresponding threading of the middle (7) of a U-shaped section, the sides of which form part of a support (6). A lock nut (8) with radial rod is screwed onto the threaded rod (5). The bottom end of the tube (1) fits into a bar forming part of a foot (9) with three legs (10,11,12). The bar has a crosswise hole through it coinciding with a corresponding hole in the tube (1). A pin (14) is inserted through the holes and is joined by a chain (13) to the foot.</p> |
