PURPOSE:In a device for measuring flow velocities (or flow rates) making use of the Karman's vortex street, it is contemplated to generate the vortex street strongly and stably by providing a rectangular member for generating the vortex street having a specific sectional dimension, and disposing a projection member having a specific dimension adjacent the rear stream side thereof.
