<p>The video replay unit is constructed as a cassette recorder and accommodates cassettes with endless magnetic video tapes. A monitoring screen is provided, but it does not receive TV transmissions. The unit also has a audion replay circuitry. It is cheaper than the TV receiver conventionally used as a monitoring screen for replaying recorder video signals.
