摘要 <p>The pipe comprises an inner pipe for the energy carrier, surrounded by an insulating sheath made of hard synthetic resin foam, pref. hard polyrethane foam, and a plastic protective casing. Between the inner pipe and the insulating sheath is a layer of foamed glass pref. having the same thickness as the insulating sheath. The inner pipe is connected to the outer protective casing via the insulating layers in negative-locking relationship. The bond between foamed glass and inner pipe may be obtd. by adhesives which are water- and temp.-resistant, or by fusing foamed glass by heating the pipe to m.pt. of the foamed glass, i.e. 730 degrees C. The thickness of the foamed glass layer prevents a temp. load of more than or less than 130 degrees C on the insulating sheath.</p>
