<p>A multi pin high voltage plug and connector has contacts in the form of a sleeve and a pin, and one connecting element is a sleeve and the other a pin, shaped so that either of them can carry a sleeve of a pin contact. The contact pin (15) in one member e.g. the plug, is threaded (36) one end for a locking collar (38). The contact pin in the other member, e.g. the connector, is similarly threaded (20) for another locking collar (19), and is positioned inside a sleeve (16) which in turn encloses a smaller diameter sleeve around the end (15) of the first pin.</p> |
