The collector tray carries a number of bottles or similar objects (1), and is shrink wrapped inside plastic film. The plastic foil produces a stable package so that transportation and storage do not create any problems. To facilitate opening or removal of the shrink foil, a perforated line is provided on top or along the side of the package. The perforation is produced by a wheel which has radial pins around its circumference, and whose location yoke is spring loaded towards the tray which passes on a moving belt. Tearing along the perforations allows an entire panel to be removed from the plastic film.
