The grommet is for closing an aperture in a panel, e.g. a housing for electrical appts. It has an opening through which a screwdriver is insertable for making an adjustment. The opening is normally closed by the wall portion of the grommet, and the sides of the slit are prized apart by the teel when inserted. When the teel is withdrawn the slit closes again, due to the resilience of the grommet material. The screwdriver recess may be a cruciform slit, or may be a pair of overlapping flaps. The grommet may be sufficiently large for a hand to be inserted through it.
