Compact brake testing unit for any location - has lifting gear and gear box with bearing on base plate for motor vehicles in repair shops

A compact brake testing station for determining the braking force on wheels, partic, on motor vehicles, is designed for testing at any location, especially in repair workshops with lifting platforms or other lifting gear. The station has two support rollers (3) and a horizontally swivelling drive roller (5). The longitudinal axis of the drive roller is coupled to the drive shaft of a geared motor (10, 11). The gear box has a bearing on its base plate. The geared motor, gear-box, and drive roller are a rigidly coupled unit able to swivel about the bearing. The drive roller is swivelled to right or left until it overcomes the braking force of the wheels on the support rollers.
