The printing machine for strip material feeds the strip from a roll (1) via a pressure roller (2) so that the adhesive layer is uppermost. The strip then passes between a plastic roller (3) and a rubber roller (4) of a driving system and from there to the printing unit which comprises a printing roller (5) and pressure roller (5). The printed strip then passes over a roller (7) and under hot air jets (8) and cooling air jets (9) before finally being coiled on a reception roller (10).
