<p>Control system for terminating terminating filtration or filter cake drying, in an intermittently operating belt-type filter with chamber and vacuum pump connected from below, operates by measuring the throughput of the air or gas drawn into the filter chamber, and using it as a switching signal for the filter cake Drying or filtration. The air throughput measuring device may be in the form of a conical glass tube in which is a suspended body, and the switching signal is caused by light barrier interruption by the suspended body. The degree of consumption of the filter belt may be measured by a co-rotating roller and connected counter which automatically shuts off the appts. and sounds the horn on not reaching a given number and after a given time.</p> |
