The sale and demonstration package for a waterproof wrist watch consists of a plastic bag (3) which contains the watch (2) and a liquid (4). The bag is formed by a tubular plastic sleeve which is sealed at both ends by a welded seam. A second outer plastic bag (5) is provided to enclose the water-filled inner bag (3). It is made by heat sealing plastic foil after filling it with compressed air to produce an air cushion. By colouring the water (4) blue, an effect of greater depth is obtained which enhances the sales appeal.
