An adjustment device for loudness and tone control of bell type alarms in telephone devices has a slide (6) with a closely connected guide shoe (7) and an activation finger (9). The slide (6) has a flat wedge shaped surface on the side nearest the alarm (2) by means of which the height of the adjuster (1) may be altered relative to the alarm (2). The U-shaped guide shoe (7) has a spring tongue at one shank end (11) which serves to fix the guide disc (8).
