Gauge for use in bending or edging presses - for alignment of metal sheet before bending

The gauge consists of an insert with its edges ground to various desired angles. One edge of the insert is located in the lower die so the opposite, upper edge of the insert forms a reference mark for aligning the bending or edging line on the sheet metal before operating the press. The gauge pref. has symmetrical angles at each edge and is intended for presses where the lower die, can be adjusted to suit the bending angle required. It gives rapid, accurate alignment.
