Varnish or paint tin - has large opening with lower skew cross: member for supporting paint brush

The varnish or paint tin has a large opening in its top end enclosed by a cover. Inside the tin below the opening (3) a across the opening (4) is a horizontal cross member (1), 1A, 1B) for supporting a wet paint brush. The cross member is skewed towards the nearer tin wall. In use, the cross member (1) has an upward projecting part located near side end. The material of the cross member (1) is joined with material of the top side (3) of the tin. The cross member has the shape of a section of a circle or a trough. The trough is inclined towards middle of the tin.
