<p>The subject invention involves apparatus for simultaneously actuating a plurality of piston and cylinder assemblies which are used to drive the movable platen of a cutting press. The instant press has a platen driven by four piston and cylinder assemblies, each assembly being connected to a source of pressurized fluid through an appropriate spool valve. The spool valves are actuated simultaneously by the movement of a pair of actuator bars which are interconnected for coordinated movement through bell cranks to a single piston and cylinder drive means.</p> |
