Air dedusting apparatus - with louvred confuser, collector and multi:clone in common casing

Apparatus for the dedusting of gases such as air, e.g. in a vacuum drying column for cearels, consists of an inertia filter with a confusor in the shape of a truncated pyramid and one side, at an angle of 60-89 degrees (80-85 degrees) with adjustable louvres at an angle of 45-75 degrees. An L-shaped collector with throttle valves directs the air into a multi clone of several cyclone dedusters which are mounted above a dust collector. The whole is enclosed in a common casing. This compact design simplifies the erection and the operation and saves space. The power reuired for dedusing is reduced and the specific throughput raised so that it is suitable for application even in smaller organisations.
