<p>A plasma display panel of the gas discharge type comprising a plurality of discrete electrically excitable gas-containing cells. Associated with each cell is a conductor array comprising a plurality of segments and a corresponding common conductor all positioned on the same surface. A transparent dielectric film is deposited over each segment conductor array and each corresponding common conductor, so that all the conductors are capacitively coupled, but physically isolated from the excitable gas.</p> |
