EICHENAUER 5 Dec 1975 [7 Dec 1974] 50026/75 Heading H5H A meander form heating resistor I has tubular rivets 13 pushed on to bights of the meander to provide tappings for a blower motor. Resistor 1 is supported by bights of the resistor passing through apertures 3 in two parallel insulating plates 2. Rivets 13 pass through apertures 11 in a further plate 7. They may be crimped or soldered to the wire 1 and may be fastened to the plate 7. The three plates are maintained in position by spacers 5 engaging narrow ends of the rectangular plates. Power supply terminals 10 are further rivets. Tappings 13 are connected to a 12V or 24V blower motor, via a rectifying bridge circuit (Fig. 2 not shown) and if desired with the inclusion of a further diode and selective switch between the tappings and bridge circuit to provide a two-step control.</p> |
